Beautiful! Orange with Green plaid? Nobody’s getting bored inside that machine.

I can’t get over how clean the whole thing is.

It is quite a color combination. I can’t convince my wife to let me get a 70's fulls size van with sweet color combos and graphics, this is an even more awesome combo, while still bringing a fair bit of funkiness to the table.

Well outside of some fairly serious rocker rust on the drivers side it is remarkably clean. I don’t honestly know how.

I saw that rocker rust. That probably happened in 1980 though.

Looking forward to seeing updates.

Wow, there’s acres of space inside that thing. A Scout is a fine vehicle.

And dang, those valve covers are so hot.

Plaid seats and cupholders? I feel like my world just melted.

Lol. Yeah the way these things were known to rust. This thing even has 98k miles on the clock.

Hey, is that console with cupholders factory?

That’s how I felt when I cleaned it all out and saw how good of shape it was all in

I think so, I’ve seen it in multiple interior shots of scouts. It is also keyed to match the doors.

You literally made me laugh out loud!

May the Schwartz be with you...

That’s pretty advanced thinking on Harvesters part. I know the SJ Jeeps never had cupholders. And I don’t think Ford or GM offered them until 83 or 84. I could be wrong though.

I don’t think ford added them to until the 90s. I’ve owned a 84, 87, and a 89 none of which that had cup holders.

It could have been 92 for the Fords. I had an 84 Suburban that had them but I don’t know when that started.

Waaaaaay back when I had a beater GMC Sonoma my wife’s Mom re-covered the bench in a 70's brown plaid-ish colour. Was the best thing about the truck!

You are in hyperspace with that interior.
